3D Design, Rotation Week 1- Bottle Holder

To begin, we were challenged to create many different drawings under a given time limit and various other constraints, such as working around a beginning frame of a square or an 'S'-shape. This was not only intense but also quite fun in terms of the finished outcome of the drawings.
Carrying on from this, we were given the task of designing and making a "bottle holder" out of paper which would support the weight of a full bottle of water 10cm off the surface of the table.

Given the restrictions of only using paper and masking tape, I believe my "bottle holder" was fairly sturdy and had a unique design, inspired by a spaceship theme I had rendered in my previous drawings.

As a bottle holder this was perfect for holding the bottle in suspension above the table, therefore passing the given task.

In addition, being the 3D Design pathway, there was a lot of emphasis on building design and architecture, so in order to make my bottle holder seem more like a building, I photographed my structure next to plastic figures to give an idea of scale and perspective
